MSC Bellissima Inaugural Sailing March 2019


MSC Bellissima, MSC Cruises’ second Meraviglia Generation ship, and fourth next-generation cruise ship to launch under the company’s $15.6 billion investment plan, has departed to complete her sea trials. Once she returns to Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in St. Nazaire, France, she will receive her finishing touches ahead of her naming ceremony in Southampton, England on March 2, 2019.

Following her official naming, MSC Bellissima will said to the Mediterranean, where she will spend her inaugural season, calling weekly at such ports as Barcelona, Marseilles, Genoa, Naples, Messina, Valletta (Malta). The ship will displace 171,598 gross registered tons and have a guest capacity of 4,500 double occupancy.

MSC Bellissima will offer an array of features to rival those of her sister ship, MSC Meraviglia. Innovative MSC for Me technology will provide an enhanced onboard experience, connecting guests with each other, the crew and the ship itself. Guest on board the ship also will be able to experience the world’s first digital cruise assistant, Zoe, a voice-enabled Artificial Intelligence device fitted in every cabin.

In addition, guests can choose from 12 international dining venues and 20 bars. For entertainment, guests can enjoy two new Cirque du Soleil shows designed exclusively for MSC Bellissima, and relax in the desert-themed water park.
